Overview

FlexFinder is a different kind of meta-search engine.

Most meta-search tools query the biggest 3 or 4 search engines to get pretty much the same results, with small variations from engine to engine. FlexFinder, on the other hand, uses a wide variety of 2nd to 4th tier US and international search engines, plus a few directories, to dredge up relevant search results the other engines are missing.

FlexFinder can be a great search companion to the major engines, being able to uncover interesting results that might not be found in their first results pages.

Technology

FlexFinder uses an advanced proprietary web meta-search algorithm that:

* Queries multiple quality search engines in parallel

* Aggressively promotes in the overall results the web sites that are found by multiple engines. That removes redundancy, and increases results relevancy

* Supports many advanced features:

- It is able to identify specific search types (e.g. medical related), and to dynamically select the best engines for those particular queries. Not all engines are the same, and being able to use each of them for the right queries is a powerful tool

- Results clustering: returned sites are analyzed in real-time, and the most common contexts in which the search keywords appear are extracted. That information gives quick insight into the web pages, and enables the user to refine its search on the spot
